I’ve gotten about 50 comment spams today and they’re still coming in slowly. They’re in a style I haven’t seen before.
Must be a new blog spam tool out!

Do you have a sample text you can post (without the obvious links or else) so we can check it out?

Yes, there’s a sample below. Most of them are different, but all are nonsensical trash with a bunch of links. Usually at least one link leads to an authority site like scripting.com and the rest to hyphenated splogs.

You’re not alone Paul, I had just over a hundred in a day to my personal weblog. May not seem like a lot, but I hadn’t had any spam on that blog in quite a few months.
Probably is a new spam tool out… [Teli shakes head in disappointment]

Hi Paul!
I just recently resurrected my blog and already I’m seeing those myself. Funny though, as many of them have NO links … just a bunch of meaningless quotes like you just mentioned.
Seems to come and go.
