Edit: As you can see, I have internet access again.
My home internet access has not been working since early this morning and I’m at a friends house posting this from her computer.
Danm! I knew I should have grabbed a cheap laptop at BestBuy when they were on sale last week. I would have been able to go somewhere with a working wifi connection and blogged from there.
I’ll be back writing when my connection is back.

Valleywag says that 19 year old journalism student, Trent Lapinski, has been poking around the dank and moldy corners of how social networking giant MySpace got started, and he’s about to publish his findings for the world to see. For such a young and aspiring journalist, this could very well be the story of a lifetime. He can kiss a future job interview at NewsCorp goodbye though. I can understand someone from the world of small magazines being shocked by the responsiveness, rambuctiousness and even hair trigger hostility of the blogosphere. I haven’t done much magazine writing in the last couple years. But I come out of that world of small political magazines. And it is, in many more than just the obvious ways, a different world.
