Meet the New Rocketboom Anchor: Joanna Colan

Joanna ColanLike a guy on the rebound from losing his girlfriend, Andrew Baron has already chosen a new anchor for the now infamous Rocketboom news vlogging show. It can’t be 100% confirmed yet, but the Huffington Post is reporting that former MTV Europe VJ Joanna Colan will take the anchor chair vacated by Amanda Congdon earlier this week. “Sources familiar with the hire say Colan, formerly the music/DJ curator at Table 50, will begin on Monday, July 10th, when Rocketboom is scheduled to go live again…” Read more »

Problogger Junior Launches after 9 Month Incubation

sMy sincere congrats goes outto Darren Rowse of Problogger.net and his wife (known only as “V”) on the birth of their son Xavier this morning. Amanda Quits / or is Fired From RocketboomA bit late on this one, but it seems that internet tv sensation, Amanda Congdon, is leaving Rocketboom to persue bigger and better things in L.A. Back on Wednesday

paulThought I’d take a break for a few days, with it being Canada day here on July 1 and Independence day in the US on July 4, but looks like I missed out on reporting a lot of really cool news.

Oh well, the time off is doing me good after all the extra work I’ve been doing. There’s nothing like a 4 day bender few days of relaxation to rejuvinate one’s blogging prowess.
