Blog Newsletters

I’ve noticed a few blogs out there who publish email newsletters to accompany their blogs. Slashdot does it. Darren over at Problogger.net does it. Others use email alert services like (I’ll fill in the url as soon as I find it).

So tell me, how are the newsletters doing for your sites?

Some people would probably scoff at adding an email newsletter in this day and age of spam filters, web 2.0 and RSS, but considering the massive amount of people who still rely on email as their communication and content reading vehicle of choice, I’m seriously considering adding newsletters to some of my sites.

Still Accepting Applications From Writers

We’re not accepting any more applications for this round of blog launches, but if you’re still interested, let us know and we may have something open in the near future. Thanks to all who applied.

To those who have expressed an interest in writing for Bloglogic, I’ll be contacting you by Wednesday at the latest. I’m still reviewing samples of your writing and I have to say… Wow!

I’ve had interest from a highly acclaimed science fiction writer, a top gun gadget and tech news blogger, a team of up-and-coming writers from a professional writers organization, etc.

And to top it all off, a major online shopping portal has offered to sponsor the relaunch of the Bloglogic network.

So if anyone out there is passionate about a mainstream topic, can write passionately about it day after day and wants to become the next A-Lister in the field, contact me at opportunity [@] bloglogic.net.

Tirekickers need not apply.

Bloglogic Coming Back Online - Slowly

Bloglogic is coming back online, slowly.

It’s been a hard decision after what happened last year and there will be a lot of changes to what I was (trying) doing back then. Most notably, there will be a lot less sites.

I simply don’t have the time or inclination to do 15-20 sites, nor do I have the support from others to go launching multiple blogs like a popcorn machine like the other networks are doing. With that said…

The cornerstone site right now is Gadgetizer.com. The second, a site I’m doing on Internet Marketing is MeatballMarketing.com.

I have 3 other sites in development right now, but they won’t really go live until they have some significant content, like about 50 posts each. Then they’ll be added to the network.

So if you’re looking for rapid deployment of blogs or for Bloglogic to become a major player in the blog network arena, that won’t be happening any time soon. I’ve made the decision to happily do from 4-8 sites and do them well for now.
