Mostly my articles are about getting traffic from articles but today I will cover a more important aspect of article writing and submission, namely link building. As a website owner you always need good quality, relevant links from sites which are trusted by search engines. Article directories are valued a lot because they get updated with new information regularly. Links from article directories are considered as the best links from SEO point of view. An article directory is often divided into categories and subcategories about diverse topics, when search engine crawlers find your links among your articles they start seeing your website as more relevant to the specified category. As a result your search engine ranking improves.
For good link building it is very important that you submit your article in the most relevant and the deepest category. Articles which reside among similar articles always rank better in search engines. By looking at the category of your submission, article directories find similar articles, links to which afterward appear beneath your piece of writing. Conversely other articles have links to your article. If your links appear on the most relevant pages, click-through rates are very good but if you submit in the wrong category, you will be linked from completely unrelated pages and thus your articles will receive minimum link juice and traffic.
Submitting unique content to each directory can have far more benefits than submitting the same article several times. However, for most writers it is not possible to submit unique articles to article directories. In such a situation it is advised that you use content rewriting service or at least an article spinner of good quality. Article spinners available for cheap rates on the internet produce nothing but junk. So one must avoid them on all costs. Good spinners on the other hand require you to provide several alternative words and phrases in your article.
